The Company was established in 2000 and was later changed the name to OsmonicsSdn.Bhd. in 2003. The company founder consist of professionals who have many years of experience in Reverse Osmosis filtration systems,and prior to setting up of this Company,  they felt that the majority of the publics have not enjoy the utmost Standard in their everyday drinking types of water.  Therefore with this in mind, they set up Osmonics Sdn. Bhd. to promote the publics in general the healthy way of drinking water.

Osmonics Sdn. Bhd. is one of the main wholesaler and distributor of water treatment machines, components and equipment for the industrial, Commercial and institutiona markets. Through our distribution centres, we also provide high quality components to dealers who use our products in residential water treatment and other applications. Our total product offering includes membranes and membrane machines incorporating reverse osmosis and other purification technologies such as filters, housings and laboratory filtration products; and pumps, flow control components, instrumentation and controls. These broad product lines allow us to meet customers’ needs at any point in the process stream, from pretreatment to final polishing.

And our diverse technologies deliver solutions to multiple markets-so our  Sales growth does not depend on any single industry or application. We built a reputation for solving our customers’ toughest problems with high-quality products. Our original reverse osmosis technology product is widely accepted, and you can find our products all over the market. And we have the capability to grow much larger, much faster.  We have sister company located in Selangor and Sarawak. We also sell standard machines and replaceable components through a distribution network.

As the quality of water in reservoirs and lakes decreases, many different industries are turning to technology to provide the water that is required to produce their products. One industry that is Particularly  affected is the beverage industry. From bottled water to soft drinks to beer, tea and juice, beverages are directly affected by the quality of water that is put into them. In the past, the treatment water received before it was bottled was minimal. Usually the water would be filtered or chlorinated to kill bacteria.  Bottled water often did not even have that done.  Customers are more demanding now, and with the wide variety of products that are available to them, producers and bottlers want to provide their customers with the best tasting and most consistent product possible.

Now, water that is going into a commercial product has a myriad of different processes applied to it.  An example of this treatment is soda pop manufacture. Whereas before the water would have the sticks and stoned removed and would then be mixed into soda and bottled, the water is now filtered, treated with a clarifier to reduce alkalinity, and then be processed with an RO unit to remove the remaining ionsthat may affect the taste. The water is then ozonated to remove any bacteria, filtered again  to remove anything that has been introduced during the treatment, and finally mixed and bottled.
